Michael Joseph Jackson (August 29, 1958 – June 25, 2009[2]) was an American recording artist, entertainer, and businessman. The seventh child of the Jackson family, he debuted on the professional music scene at the age of 11 as a member of The Jackson 5 and began a solo career in 1971 while still a member of the group. Referred to as the "King of Pop" in subsequent years, five of his solo studio albums have become some of the world's best-selling records: Off the Wall (1979), Thriller (1982), Bad (1987), Dangerous (1991) and HIStory (1995).

We all can remember a Micheal Jackson song. I can remember singing ABC and Ben. Then as a teen buying Off the wall and going to the my first concert Michael Jackson in Valley Forge. I went to see the Wiz , and watched Ben. At that point I swore I was going to marry Michael Jackson. Then he released Thriller, I practiced that dance so much , I probably can still do it today.Let's not forget the Motown 25 performance. Michael , album after , song after song touched my life. I watched the Wiz with my kids, and when my daughter asked what happened to him, all I could say Mike is just Mike. In every song you know that he was pouring out emotion. .There will never be another Michael Jackson,I can name songs for days, and you will Remember the Time.

How about the Victory Tour in '84 at old JFK in South Philly......my pops and I got in line overnight, in front of Wanamaker's box office on 13th st. and got tickets.....then me, my pops, and young Dame went to that show....unbelievable, even as far back as we were from the stage....when Mike took the stage solo, all bets were off, mofos were passing out, screaming, crying, acting a fool.....and Mike just kicked it; Billie Jean, Beat It, Wanna Be Starting Something, PYT, Thriller, Rock With You, Don't Stop Til You Get Enough....I remember that set list by heart, to this day....there will never, ever, ever be another one like him, and we were lucky enough to be around to witness it, he was the greatest performer of all time, period. The biggest star this world will ever know is gone and it will never be easy to say that.
